OBNEA Run From Addiction
On October 26th, 2013 The OBN Employees Association will host our 5th annual Halloween Run From Addiction. Once again we will have a 10K run that will serve as a demand reduction opportunity. It will take place near the Chesapeake Boathouse area at Regatta Park along the Oklahoma River near Bricktown in Oklahoma City. Last year the run was a huge success and this year should prove to be even better!
The main goal of OBNEA is to support the men and women who dedicate their lives to making Oklahoma a drug-free state, and to be there when disaster strikes those who serve. Sadly we have learned that when a member is killed in the line of duty their families are forced into difficult situations. OBNEA has pledged to be there to support those families in any way we can. The run held in October is the main fundraiser for the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics Employee Association.
We would like to invite everyone out to enjoy the 5K -10K run/walk. Trophies will be awarded to the top overall male, female, and team in both the 5K and 10K run.
Medals will be given to the top three in each age group.
Also, a prize will be given to the best costume among registered participants!
And like last year there will be a DJ to get us all going!
$20 - Registration ($25 after Oct. 13th)
